Big boy, big heart, a suspicious amount of fur & mostly upside down!

Hi, I’m Levi. Born in 2020 (castrated, chipped, vaccinated), a Rafeiro do Alentejano which basically means Portuguese livestock guardian blood runs through my veins.

Sounds very majestic, I know.

And yes, I can be calm, loyal, watchful and independent. I like to know what’s going on, I like my people safe, and I do not need to be micromanaged, thank you. I read body language, I make my own little decisions, and in the end, we all know what truly matters: S N A C K S.

But before you imagine me standing dramatically on a hill in the sunset, guarding sheep with the wisdom of an ancient king.

Please know this: I am mostly upside down.

If I see you coming from far away, I will already start rolling onto my back like: hello?? belly rub department?? I have been waiting??

There are approximately 700 photos of me lying on my back, face upside down, looking like a fluffy furniture accident. And honestly, that is my brand.

I love people. I love cuddles. I love relaxed walks. I walk nicely on the lead, but I am not looking for a marathon lifestyle. I have some old hip issues, probably from being hit by a car before, but I manage them very well over the last years cause I get joint supplements & if you don’t know, you don’t see it!. I enjoy my walks very much - just always at a chill gentleman pace. I mean, you would also not run if you’re that majestic!

Think: strolling walks. garden days. Couch time. Relaxed walks. Big paws. Soft eyes. Full-body cuddles.

I have always lived with female dogs and enjoy their company. I can be okay with males too, but if I don’t vibe with the other pal, I may become a little grumpy. A king is allowed to have opinions.

What I need is loving, consistent humans who understand my guardian-dog soul: calm, loyal, independent, affectionate - and very, very committed to belly rubs.

So if your dream dog is a gentle giant who will watch over your home, nap in your garden, lean into your heart and occasionally pose like an upside-down cloud.
