Hey, I’m Jamaica — born 01.03.2019, neutered, chipped and vaccinated, with a strong body, soft heart and the shiniest black coat in Portugal.

I’ve got a lot of energy, low frustration tolerance and a slightly confused prey drive. But I’m smart. Like, really smart. I love training and I learn super fast — especially when it’s regular and clear. I just need someone who shows me how the world works.

I wear a muzzle and I actually love it now. It helps me calm down and focus. And when I get too excited? I stop as soon as I feel human skin near my mouth. Pinky promise.

I’m not a beginner dog. I need structure, clear rules, love and someone who stays calm when I’m not. A chill male dog buddy? Could work! A human with real dog knowledge? Must have.

Every volunteer who takes the time to get to know me falls in love.
