Billy

A young, goofy Portuguese Pointer with a heart on his face and plenty of love to give.

Billy is a young, goofy Portuguese Pointer (DOB 02.03.2023, neutered, vaccinated, chipped) with a heart on his face - quite fitting for a dog who has so much love to give.

His two great loves are cuddles and his ball. He adores body contact, has ridiculously soft fur and proudly brings out the ball he keeps hidden in his little house whenever someone visits.

He’s friendly with other dogs, especially the ladies, and very eager to be a food boy.

Although he has been known to jump into the food cart and serve himself.

As a Pointer, Billy has a strong hunting instinct and can be powerful on walks. Some play, ball or trick training beforehand helps him settle. He needs active, patient humans who’ll give him exercise and training, but also teach him how to chill.

Billy has Leishmania, which is well managed with medication. The medication costs around €5 per box, although lifelong veterinary monitoring is required.
