I’m that dog who wants love, but needed to learn how to handle it. When I first came to Mayday at the beginning of 2025, they said: “The moment he hears a ‘no’ or gets touched – he snaps.”

Yup, that was me. Scared. Overwhelmed. But never a bad boy – just lost.

Now? Thanks to a few patient, snack-giving, walk-loving volunteers – especially Julia who made an impressive start with me – I’ve learned to trust. Step by step. At the moment I am with Svenja from Happy Buddy Algarve to learn beingagooddog even more. (But contact Mayday for any more information)

I now let people put my leash on. I enjoy cuddles (from my people). I’m doing tricks, rocking agility like a pro, and vibing with words of affirmation and crunchy treats.

I still don’t vibe with every dog – some are chill, some give me bad energy. I’ll let you know.

But humans? If you give me a lil time and space, I’ll give you loyalty, laughs, and tail wags for days.
