Take home a female puppy
When deciding to take home a rescued female puppy, you need to consider that she most probably has had a traumatic start to her life and she may need time to adjust to your family and home. Also if you already have a female dog consider if they will get along well together when the puppy is grown. All of our female puppies will need to be sterlised before her first season sometime between 6 and 7 months old, so you will need to agree to that when signing the adoption contract. We ask for veterinary proof that this has been done.
Puppies should be fed a good quality puppy food three times a day until they are at least 6 months old. After that they can be fed twice a day with puppy food until they are 12 months old. Then they can be gradually move onto adult food. We recommend continuing to feed your dogs twice a day as this is better for them.
